Mumbai, April 1: Pat Cummins, the Australian Test team captain and bowler, arrived in India ahead of the IPL 2022 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), after competing in the Test series against Pakistan.

Cummins, on the other hand, will be unable to play in KKR’s match against Punjab since he will be required to undergo a three-day quarantine upon his arrival. However, this is still a significant help for KKR, whose next match after playing Punjab is on April 6 against Mumbai Indians, in which Cummins is anticipated to participate.

Notably, KKR are currently ranked No. 5 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with one win, which came against defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Wankhede stadium on March 26.
