Varanasi, Oct 17: Investigators from the Income Tax department conducted raids at various Varanasi properties owned by bullion trader Narayan Das.
As of the time that this report was being written, the raids, which started on Tuesday morning, were still going on.
The tax sleuths were accompanied by personnel from a number of police stations throughout the raids.
