Jamshedpur, April 1: The court of additional district judge-IV, Rajendra Kumar Sinha on Saturday convicted Deepak Kumar in the quadruple murder case registered with the Kadma thana on April 12, 2021.
Deepak Kumar, who was a Tata Steel employee had murdered his wife, two minor daughters and a lady tuition teacher at his residence on Tista road in Kadma on April 12, 2021.
The convict had raped the lady teacher who used to visit his house for teaching his daughters before slitting her throat. Apart from the murder, the assailant had also inflicted grievous injuries on two of his relatives.
The murderer was arrested from Dhanbad on April 15.
In the case 25 prosecution witnesses had deposed before the court. The court will pronounce the judgment on April 6.
