Jamshedpur, March 30: A 27-year-old businessman from Ranchi who was staying at Hotel Devdoot along Kalimati Road in Sakchi died under mysterious condition on Thursday.
Identified as Ashwini Jaiswal, the businessman had checked in the hotel along with his wife 11 days ago.
At about 10 am today, the wife suddenly started screaming at the hotel’s corridor, attracting the attention of the hotel service staff. As she told them that her husband was terribly sick, the hotel management soon arranged an ambulance and rushed Ashwini to Tata Main Hospital where the doctors on emergency duty declared him as brought dead.
Soon the police were informed, leading them to inform the family members of the deceased at Ranchi. The deceased was carrying out a business of real estate and would live near Devi Mandir along the Hazaribag Road in Lalpur. Both Ashwini and his wife had come in a BMW car and were staying at the hotel since March 19.
The young woman who claimed herself to be Ashwini’s wife said that her parents’ house is at Sainagar in Badagamharia in Seraikela-Kharsawan district and that she was married to Ashwini just two months ago.
OC, Sakchi thana, Sanjay Kumar Singh confirmed about the mysterious death of a young businessman from Ranchi, but could not say the exact reason behind the death.
“We are presently busy in the law and order duty pertaining to the Ramnavami festival. We are yet to start an investigation into the circumstances under which the businessman died, ” said the OC while talking to lagatar24.com.
Singh said the family members of the deceased have been informed. The mystery behind Ashwini Jaiswal’s would be unfolded only after the bereaved family members give their statement to the police and also from the autopsy report.
