Jamshedpur, Sept 26: Sustaining gunshot injury by a teenager during a group clash has raised eyebrows in the Golmuri locality of the steel city on Monday.
Though the clash leading to the 15-year-old boy Gopal Kumar sustaining the bullet injury had taken place during a cricket match at Cable Town under the Golmuri thana area on Saturday evening, the police could know about it today only following the gunshot victim was shifted from MGM medical college hospital to Tata Main Hospital for better treatment.
OC of Golmuri thana, Arvind Kumar confirmed about the firing at Cable Town resulting in the injury to one of the boys.

We are now trying to find out the culprits involved in the shooting that had taken place during a cricket match at Cable Town on Saturday,” said Kumar while talking to lagatar24.com.
Gopal who is a resident of Cable Town itself has sustained an injury in the abdomen.
According to sources, after the boy sustained the injury, his father who is a contract worker rushed him to the MGM medical college hospital where he got him admitted claiming it to be a simple injury. But when the boy’s condition started deteriorating, the doctors on emergency duty referred him to the Tata Main Hospital for better treatment.
It was a doctor at the Tata Main Hospital that discovered it to be a gunshot injury and referred the matter to the camp thana which functions under the Bistupur thana. The Golmuri thana came to know about it after the Bistupur thana intimated the matter today for necessary action.
