Jamshedpur youth injured after friend-turned-foe opens fire

Jamshedpur, March 20: A 28-year-old youth was seriously injured as he was shot at by one Mohammed Mazid at Islamnagar under Jugsalai thana area late last night.

The victim Mohammed Jahid who is also a resident of Jugsalai was rushed to Tata Main Hospital where he has been operated upon today.

According to police, both Jahid and Mazid used to be friends once, but due to some issue enmity had developed between them, resulting in the gunshot attack on the former.

While carrying out the investigation, the police could know that few other youths who are Mazid’s associates were also involved in the attack.

In this connection, the police have picked up three suspects for interrogation. The police are conducting raids to nab Mazid who is on the run.
