Jharkhand: ₹7.88 Crore Bounty on 58 Naxals, Police Headquarters Releases New List

Ranchi: Jharkhand Police Headquarters has released a fresh list of wanted Naxals as of June 13. According to the updated list, there are now 58 Naxals on the state’s most-wanted list, with a combined bounty of ₹7.88 crore on their heads. This reduction reflects recent successful anti-Naxal operations, especially in districts like Latehar, Bokaro, and Chaibasa, where many top commanders have either been killed or arrested.

2025 Sees Record High in Naxal Eliminations

As per data, till June 10, 2025, security forces have neutralized 19 Naxals — the highest tally in the past five years. The consistent damage to Naxal leadership has severely weakened their organizational structure, causing panic and internal rifts within the groups.

Updated List of Rewarded Naxals

₹1 crore reward (3 Naxals): Misir Besra, Asim Mandal, Anal Da

₹25 lakh reward (5 Naxals): Anuj alias Sahdev, Brajesh Ganjhu, Lalchandra Hembram, Raghunath Hembram, Ajay Mahato

₹15 lakh reward (10 Naxals): Mochu alias Mehnat, Madan Mahato, Sanjay Mahato, Martin Kerketa, Ramprasad Mardi, Nitesh Yadav, Ravindra Ganjhu, Amit Munda, Bela Sarkar, Sahdev Mahato

₹10 lakh reward (9 Naxals): Amit Hansda, Arif Ji, Mrityunjay Ji, Manohar Ganjhu, Vivek Yadav, Birsan Ganjhu, Saluka Kayam, Pushpa Mahato, Godray Yadav

₹5 lakh reward (22 Naxals): Shiv Singh, Anil Turi, Sukhlal Birjia, Sameer Soren, Brajesh Yadav, Sameer Mahato, Suleman Hansda, Sachin Beng, Mukhdev Yadav, Gulshan Singh Munda, Ravindra Yadav, Lavkesh Ganjhu, Jayanti, Prabhat Munda, Pankaj Korba, Biren Singh, Sagen Angeria, Kunwar Manjhi, Mita, Meena, Firoz Ansari, Raj Bhuiyan

₹2 lakh reward (4 Naxals): Karan, Malti Murmu, Sonaram alias Sudesh, Balram Lohra

₹1 lakh reward (5 Naxals): Israel, Basu Purti, Basmati Jerai, Samael Budh, Baboolal
