Ranchi: The globally renowned hospitality brand Marriott International has opened its first hotel in Jharkhand and Bihar — Courtyard by Marriott Ranchi. The grand inauguration ceremony took place on Sunday and was officiated by Guruji Shrikant Sharma.

Speaking at the event, Bishnu Agarwal, Director of Aeroline Real Estate Pvt. Ltd., said, “With the support of all, Jharkhand and Bihar have welcomed their first international hotel under the Marriott brand.”

Ranju Alex, Regional Vice President (South Asia) of Marriott International, expressed her excitement, stating, “Being from this region myself, it’s a proud moment to see Courtyard by Marriott Ranchi become a reality through the efforts of Nucleus Group.”

A Warm Welcome and State-of-the-Art Facilities

The hotel boasts 111 luxuriously designed rooms, equipped with modern amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and ergonomic workstations. Guests can enjoy serene views of Kanke Dam and lush green gardens, offering a tranquil retreat in the midst of urban activity.

Located adjacent to Nucleus Mall on Kanke Road, Courtyard by Marriott Ranchi is conveniently situated — just 35 minutes from Birsa Munda Airport and 30 minutes from Ranchi and Hatia railway stations.

Dining and Leisure Experiences

Guests can indulge in all-day dining at Virasaat, a signature restaurant offering a fusion of local and international cuisines with an open kitchen concept. For relaxed moments, the Courtyard Café serves freshly brewed coffee and a range of beverages.

The Skyline Rooftop Bar offers a peaceful atmosphere with poolside seating and handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and delicious snacks.

The hotel also features a rooftop swimming pool, steam area, and a 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness center for wellness and recreation.

Ideal for Events and Business Travelers

With 9,100 square feet of event space, the hotel caters to both corporate and social events. The Vista Hall (Crown Jewel) spans 4,123 square feet, accommodating up to 300 guests, making it perfect for weddings, conferences, and receptions.

For intimate meetings, there’s an Executive Room for up to 14 guests. The Skyline Venue, a 4,000-square-foot open-air space with panoramic views of Kanke Dam, provides a stunning setting for corporate or private parties.
