Jharkhand CM gets invitation to participate in tribal dance festival in Chhattisgarh

Ranchi, Oct.13: Chief Minister (CM) Hemant Soren got an invitation to participate in the National Tribal Dance Festival scheduled from October 28 to November 1 in Chhattisgarh.

 

Chhatisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel invited him through a letter. Parliamentary secretary of the state Vinod Chandrakar handed the letter to CM Soren today at his official residence  amid presence of principal secretary Rajeev Arun Ekka and officers of Chhattisgarh Administrative Service Rakesh Kumar Golcha besides others.

 

Handing over the invitation letter with a memento made by Bastar Art Chandrakar informed CM Soren regarding the steps taken by the Chhattisgarh state government to conserve the old tribal civilization of the state. He said the government is promoting tribal culture besides folk dance, song and culture.

 

Chandrakar informed CM Soren that artists from different parts of the country including Jharkhand are expected to participate in the festival which will be of its kind in the country.
