Ranchi, April 4: While attending the Sarhul Mahotsav organised by the Adivasi Boys and Girls Hostel here, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has promised that the government has decided to build hostels for tribal girls in Ranchi so that they do not face any inconvenience in coming to the city to study.

He informed that all the shortcomings of the hostels are being removed by renovating the hostels run by the Tribal Welfare Department. There will also be arrangements for cooks and watchmen in these hostels. The government will also provide food to the students.

CM Hemant Soren participated in the Sarhul Mahotsav-2022 organised at the Adivasi Boys and Girls Hostel at Karam Toli. He reached the place of worship and wished everyone a happy Sarhul festival.

The CM added that after the global pandemic, this is the first instance when people are celebrating Sarhul. There is a pleasant feeling in carrying forward civilization, culture and tradition.

He also said that tribals have always been far away from malice and hatred. The people should unite to save their tradition and culture. They also need to keep the ancestral tribal traditions as it is, he added.
