Ranchi, May 31: In an unexpected move , the Jharkhand government on Tuesday evening ordered the Anti Corruption Bureau to carry investigation into alleged disproportionate assets of ministers of the previous government headed by Raghubar Das of the BJP.
In a press communiqué, the state public relations department informed that the order of enquiry has been given in the wake of a public interest petition filed by one Pankaj Kumar Yadav before the Jharkhand High Court in 2020.
The petitioner had said that former ministers Amar Kumar Bauri, Randhir Singh, Nira Yadav, Louise Marandi and Neelkanth Singh Munda had raised disproportionate assets by misusing their official position.
