Ranchi, July 31: Congress MLA from Bermo Anoop Singh lodged a complaint, along with Congress state president Rajesh Thakur on Sunday have filed a complaint against the three Congress MLAs Dr Irfan Ansari, Naman Bixal Kongari and Rajesh Kachchap after they were caught with large amounts of cash in rural Howrah late Saturday night.

Significantly, the three Congress MLAs were taken into custody by the police of rural Howrah, all of whom were in a vehicle and were on their way towards East Midnapore. The police notably stopped the car near Ranihati Mor in the Panchla police station area. Upon being searched, huge amounts of cash were discovered in the vehicle.

As per sources, the three Jharkhand MLAs who were arrested in West Bengal late Saturday night have been released. It has been claimed that the MLAs have provided complete details of the money. According to the information received from the sources, the three MLAs had gone to West Bengal for the purpose of buying a vehicle and took money for the same. However, it is not yet clear whether the money was for buying a car or any other item. However, sources have claimed that the three MLAs have been released after they gave satisfactory details regarding the money. All three MLAs have left for Jharkhand.
