Ranchi: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) has thrown its weight behind the ongoing Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar. On Tuesday morning, senior Congress leaders from Jharkhand, including ministers, MLAs, district presidents, executive members, and office bearers, departed for Bihar to participate in the campaign. The delegation is being led by state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh.

Focus on Democracy and Voter Rights

According to the JPCC, the party’s participation aims to strengthen democratic values and raise awareness about the constitutional right to vote. The leaders will join the yatra at Nawada district in Bihar. The Congress stated that the movement is an important initiative to create awareness among citizens and ensure maximum representation from Jharkhand.
