Ranchi, Oct 12: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is looking for criminal complaints against one Vinod Kumar who is the proprietor of Grids Consultant. The ED has stated that as per the complaint received Vinod Kumar is also close to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and media advisor Abhishek Prasad alias Pintu.
The ED sought the report on the basis of complaints it received from private persons. Besides, the ED is also in the lookout for a complaint against a stone mining company M/s Shiv Shakti Stone Works where Shankar Kumar is the partner. The ED in the letter addressed to the IG (HR) of Jharkhand Police has asked to provide a copy of the FIR/ chargesheet if any exists against them. The ED has sought such details against more than two dozen persons including three senior bureaucrats against whom complaints have been received.
Grids Consultant proprietor acquired disproportionate assets
The ED in the letter has said that there is a complaint of corruption against Vinod Kumar. Referring to that letter the ED stated that it has been alleged that Vinod Kumar who is very close to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his media advisor has acquired huge illegal properties in his name and in the name of his family members, at different places.
Laborer died at the crusher unit of Shiv Shakti Stone works
Regarding Shiv Shakti Stone Works, the ED in the letter has stated that it received a complaint pertaining to the death of a labour Karuna Shah by a crusher on 8th May, 2020 while working at the crusher point at Borna under Ranga police station of Sahibganj.
“The complaint has alleged that he has not found any satisfactory answer to the Right to Information regarding the death of Karuna Shah and he is also threatened by the office of the SP of Sahibganj during that said period for making complaints. In this regard, it is requested that kindly arrange to forward the copies of FIR/ chargesheet, if any along with relied upon documents…” the letter reads.
The report sought against Sahibganj DMO Bibhuti Kumar
Sahibganj DMO Bibhuti Kumar is already under the scanner of the ED for his alleged failure to stop illegal stone mining in the district. Seeking the detail the ED has said that the agency has got the complaint that he misused challans by fraud and forgery in the mining department and have acquired huge illegal properties in his name. Besides, he illegally allocated a lease to one GH Stone Works. On being contacted, Bibhuti Kumar said that complaints against him are ill-motivated.
Illegal coal mining in Dhanbad
In this connection, the ED has sought to know whether illegal coal mining has been done since a long in Dhanbad under the ECL mining area at Mugma by Makkhoo Singh and his son Bablu Singh.
The ED said that complainants have alleged that both of them are mining mafia and they are doing illegal mining in connivance with SSP of Dhanbad Sanjeev Kumar besides Ramesh Gope, Ramashanker Singh, Vinod Kumar, Sanjay Singh and others. They have acquired huge illegal properties in their name and in the name of their family members, in different places.
Illegal sand mining complaint against Manish Yadav in Dumka
The ED has stated that the agency has received a complaint against Manish Yadav alias Babul Yadavwho has acquired huge illegal properties in his name and in the name of his family members by the way of illegal sand mining.
