The governor has his night stay in the circuit house, Daltonganj.
On Friday, he has an interactive session with the particularly vulnerable tribal group of people at Ramgarh in Palamu before embarking for Ramkanda in Garhwa district.
The governor will return to Ranchi by road from Ramkanda in the Garhwa district via Daltonganj on June 9 itself.
Hectic preparations are on for the visit of the governor. Security on roads will be too tight, said sources but with least of the dislocation to traffic on NH 75.
The roads that he and his entourage have to negotiate are now under the scanner of the state police.
Sources said this is for the first time in the annals of any visit of the governor that such a hectic and tiresome road journey in this severe summer is to be seen here by the commoners.
