New Delhi, June 10: The Jharkhand government on Friday has filed an SLP in the Supreme Court challenging the order passed by Jharkhand HC on the maintainability of PIL in connection with shell companies allegedly related to CM Hemant Soren and his associates.
Earlier, the Jharkhand High Court bench of Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad an order accepting the maintainability of PILs. Filed by Shiv Shankar Sharma, the first PIL is related to allegations against Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his close associates whereas the second PIL is related to the CM availing of stone mining lease in his name.
