Ranchi, Feb.23: The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday directed the Jharkhand Police to submit a case diary of the case of attempt to murder in which BJP’s Baghmara MLA Dhullu Mahto is an accused.
Mahto moved the high court after the Dhanbad district court denied him bail in an attempt to murder case. The court deferred the hearing in the petition to coming Tuesday.
The case of attempt to murder was registered last year at the Kenduadih police station. The FIR was lodged on October 14 following an incident of shootout for coal turf supremacy in which one person named Mukesh Turi was injured. The FIR was registered under IPC Section 147, 148,149, 341, 323, 307,120B, 25/26, 27/35 against 12 named persons, including Dhullu Mahto and 10 unidentified persons.
