Ranchi, July 31: Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta on Sunday visited Padmashree Simon Oraon, also known as Jal Purush; who was admitted to the Neurology Department at RIMS on Friday after complaining of paralysis.
Doctors have claimed that his health is improving. During his visit, minister Gupta took information about his illness from his doctor. The doctor said that Simone’s blood pressure is under control. A routine check-up has been done. A city scan and MRI will be done soon.
Health Minister Banna Gupta further said, “I pray to God for the speedy recovery of Padmashree Simon Oraon. It is our wish that he be able to go home soon with a smile.”
Gupta added that Simon has worked with dedication and service towards the country and Jharkhand.
On the other hand, RIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Hirendra Barua said that his health is improving rapidly. Oraon was also taken around the area in a wheelchair on Sunday.
RIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Hirendra Birua, Medical Deputy Superintendent Dr Shailesh Tripathi, Dean Dr Vivek Kashyap along with others were present.
