Jharkhand Health secretary asks civil surgeons to maintain drug list, attendance of medical teachers

Ranchi, April 14: Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Arun Kumar Singh has directed civil surgeons of all the 24 districts of Jharkhand to keep drug and vaccine data management system (DVDMS) updated.

Singh has asked them to submit a description of medicines which were used and which remained unused in the financial year 2022-23 by April 30.

He warned of dire consequences in case of any carelessness in handling medicine and ensuring its optimum use.

In another direction, Singh has asked principals of all medical colleges to keep a tab on the attendance of teachers.

He has asked them to display their work plan on the website and also send a report regarding implementation of their work plan by 10th of every month.

Singh warned action against the teachers of medical colleges in case of their failure in following their academic and medical calendar.
