Ranchi, Jan.7: Jharkhand High Court today expressed its concern over the delay in the purchase of genome sequencing machine.
Directing the state government to file an affidavit in the matter of delay in purchase of the said machine the court verbally asked whether the machine will be purchased when omicron will spread across the state. Apart from this, the court verbally asked whether the court will give direction for each work before observing that the government wakes when people start reaching to the cremation ground.
The high court at the time of giving direction to file an affidavit to the government asked to be specific when the order for the purchase of the machine was given.
The court on the occasion also expressed its dissatisfaction over the non-opening of the medicine centre for common people saying that it was painful to know that people are purchasing medicines from outside and incurring financial loss but the RIMS is not taking action in this regard despite the court’s directive.
