Ranchi, April 18: Hearing a petition challenging the cancellation of the appointment process for Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP), the Jharkhand High Court asked the government to furnish the reason behind the same.
Rakesh Kumar and Vimal Kumar Jha had filed the petition explaining how it was wrong to do so.
A bench of Justice S N Pathak seeking reasons asked the state government to file a separate counter affidavit in the matter. Now the matter will be heard on May 2.
Advertisement for appointment of 143 APP was published in February 2018. It was cancelled in February this year.
