Jharkhand logs 126 fresh Covid cases, 371 recoveries in last 24 hours

Ranchi, Feb 14: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 126 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Sunday taking the total number of active cases to 1,620 with 371 recoveries and no casualties.

As many as 36,831 samples were tested across the state on Sunday of which 126 returned positive, indicating a positivity rate of 0.34%.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,33,258 out of which 4,26,324 have recovered and 5,314 have scummed to the virus.

East Singhbhum with 56 new cases remained at the top followed by Ranchi with 25 new cases.

The recovery rate stood at 98.39% and the mortality rate at 1.22%.
