Jharkhand logs 1,755 fresh cases, 9 deaths in last 24 hours

Ranchi, Jan 23: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 1,755 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Saturday taking the total number of active cases to 21,628 with 3,888 recoveries and nine deaths.

While four casualties were reported from East Singhbhum, two each from Dhanbad and Saraikela and one case from Bokaro.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,19,158 out of which 3,92,277 have recovered and 5,253 have scummed to the virus.

Ranchi with 600 new cases remained at the top followed by East Singhbhum with 276 new cases.
