Jharkhand logs 2,776 fresh cases, 4 deaths in last 24 hours

Ranchi, Jan 17: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 2,776 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Sunday taking the total number of active cases to 31,747 with 4,114 recoveries and four deaths.

While three casualties were reported from East Singhbhum and one from Saraikela.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic in April 2021 has reached 4,05,309 out of which 3,68,359 have recovered and 5,203 have scummed to the virus.

Ranchi with 888 new cases once again remained on top followed by East Singhbhum with 621 new cases.
