Ranchi: The official social media handle of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), the ruling party in Jharkhand, has been hacked, Chief Minister Hemant Soren confirmed through a post from his own ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) account. The Chief Minister has directed the Jharkhand Police to launch an immediate investigation and take necessary action in the matter.

“The official X handle of JMM has been hacked by anti-social elements. Jharkhand Police should take cognizance and investigate this matter promptly,” Hemant Soren stated in his post.
Additionally, the Chief Minister urged XCorpIndia, the parent company of the platform, to take note and intervene in resolving the issue.
According to reports, the breach became evident around midnight on Saturday when an unusual image of a squirrel was posted from the JMM’s official handle, leading to speculation that the post was made by the hackers.
In swift response to the incident, Chief Minister Soren ordered an immediate probe to identify those responsible and ensure strict action against them.
