Ranchi, Aug.2: BJP MLA Randhir Singh after his suspension from the assembly alleged Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto of working as an agent of the JMM government.

Singh said that party MLAs will sit on dharna from tomorrow under the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee until the speaker realizes his mistake and seeks apology for his action.

Another suspended MLA Dhullu Mahto supported Singh and strongly attacked the government on the issue. “We MLAs were constantly exposing the corruption in the house.  The job of a speaker is to listen to both the parties, including ruling and the opposition. But the speaker is acting under pressure from the government,” he said.

“The government does not want any discussion on the issue of corruption. In such a situation, we MLAs will oppose the corrupt chief minister, corrupt ministers and speaker,” Mahto added.
