Daltonganj, Feb 11: Sri Goshala in Daltonganj has plans of launching an inoculation drive for cattle in collaboration with local touring veterinary officers.

Stating the ‘Cow Hug Day’ campaign, Sardar Indrajeet Singh Dimple of Sri Goshala on Saturday said, “Last night we got a message from the concerned authority on the withdrawal of the Cow Hug Day on February 14. However, we do not find this withdrawal of the Cow Hug Day as any hold-up as we will continue to adore and protect the cow wealth as always.”

Dimple also said that on Saturday, Anil Pandey, the president of the Sri Goshala Daltonganj and other members conducted a meeting with a senior lawyer of the civil court in Daltonganj to chalk out the programme for the Cow Hug Day on Feb 14.

Answering a question about launching the inoculation drive for cattle in collaboration with local touring veterinary officers, Dimple said, “We will be taking initiative for it soon and will motivate cow owners to get their livestock duly inoculated.”
