Ranchi, Dec 14: Digital Skill and Entrepreneurship University will be established soon in the state, said Chief Minister Hemant Soren during the Higher and Technical Education Department meeting at the secretariat today.
In the meeting, detailed information about the educational structure of Digital Skill and Entrepreneurship University was presented to the CM through a presentation.
The CM during the meeting said that the action plan is being prepared with the thought that every educated and trained youth of Jharkhand gets assured employment opportunities.
“Since the formation of the government, bringing qualitative improvement in the education system of the state has been the priority and the government is working with commitment to provide quality higher and technical education and skill development to the students studying in the universities established in the state,” said the CM.
The CM also said that constant consultations are being held with the founders of various universities for the development of an employable education system in the state.
“Industrial and commercial activities, as well as local requirements, should be studied for the subjects on which the youth should be trained in skill development, so that educated and trained youth could be connected with employment immediately,” the CM further added.
The Chief Minister directed to include Civil Aviation Course in the courses and said that 8 newly constructed polytechnic institutes in the state would first be connected with the skill university.
In the meeting, State Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary of Higher and Technical Education Department K.K. Khandelwal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajiv Arun Ekka, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, Chief Project Officer Meenakshi Kumar and others were present.
