Ranchi, Dec. 8: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today started the Khatiani Johar Yatra. During this, while the CM counted the achievements of the state government, he attacked the opposition fiercely. He said that the amount of development work done in the state in three years was not done even in 20 years. He talked about giving loans up to Rs 25 lakh to the youth.
On this occasion, Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Mithilesh Thakur, Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh and Labour Minister Satyanand Bhokta were also present with him.
Addressing the Khatiani Johar Yatra, Soren said that the state government is providing loans ranging from five to 25 lakh rupees to the youth for employment. This will reduce unemployment.
Soren said that the wound of 20 years cannot be filled in three years. For this more time will be required. He said that from next year the state government is opening a CBSE affiliated school in all the district headquarters of the state. With this, the sons of the poor will move forward after being educated. After this, this arrangement will be done at block and panchayat level.
He said that under the Savitribai Phule Yojana, girls will get Rs 4,000 per month and after 18 years, the government will give Rs 40,000 in a lump sum. Apart from this, the state government will also make arrangements for preparing for competitive exams and for lodging.
He said that OBC reservation and the domicile policy on the basis of the 1932 khatiyan (Land records) was passed by the state government. It is like a nail on the chest of the opponents. In its fury, the BJP is conspiring against the state government and by taking the help of ED and CBI, it is working to destabilize the state government, he alleged and added that the long line of development he has drawn in three years, the opposition cannot do it for seven births.
Soren said that Jharkhand has been the land of heroes and after 30-35 years of struggle of Nilambar-Pitamber, Fetal Singh Kharwar, Jethan Singh, Sidho-Kanhu and Dishom Guru, we got a separate state. “The above heroes fought for a long time against feudal thinking. As a result of that, we got a separate state, but after getting the state, power went into the hands of people with feudal ideology and plans were made in Delhi and Gujarat to loot Jharkhand. In 20 years, those people looted the state and made it hollow,” he added.
