New Delhi, June 7: The Shopian police on Tuesday cracked a recent terror attack case in which terrorists used IED in a vehicle at Shopian and one soldier was martyred while others were injured. The police arrested all four terrorists.
“Shopian Police cracked recent terror attack case in which terrorists used IED in a vehicle at Shedow Shopian, in which one soldier was martyred and others were injured. All 04 terrorists/associates have been arrested,” said IGP Kashmir.
On Thursday, June 2, a blast occurred inside a private leased car in the Sedow region of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, killing one Army soldier and injuring three others.
According to Emron Musavi, PRO (Defense), Srinagar, an army unit launched a cordon-and-search operation in the Patitohalan area at about 3 a.m. on Thursday, based on particular intelligence.
