Latehar: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Suresh Ganjhu was cremated on Saturday at his native village Kaila Khad in Chandwa. The funeral was attended by JMM central vice president and former minister Baidyanath Ram, district president Lal Moti Nath Shahdev, and a large number of party workers and locals who bid him farewell with tearful eyes.
Leaders Pay Their Respects
Several leaders and representatives, including District Twenty-Point Vice President Arun Kumar Dubey, former MLA representative Prabhat Kumar, district spokesperson Sushil Kumar Yadav, Mahila Morcha president Reena Devi, and other senior JMM members, were present. District council members, block presidents, and youth leaders also joined in paying tribute to the late leader.
Cause of Death
Ganjhu had been bitten by a venomous snake last Wednesday. He was initially admitted to Latehar Sadar Hospital and later shifted to RIMS, Ranchi on doctors’ advice. Despite treatment, he passed away late Thursday night. His sudden demise has left the community and party members in deep mourning.
