JPSC invites applications to recruit 836 non-teaching specialist doctors

Ranchi, March 25: For the positions of Non-Teaching Specialist Doctors (Backlog) and (Regular), the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released a notification requesting applications from qualified individuals. The Commission has made the decision to fill 836 open positions for non-teaching specialist doctors, of which 65 are for non-teaching specialist doctors with backlogs and 771 are for non-teaching specialist doctors with regular schedules. Several specialities, including anaesthesia, gynaecology, surgery, medicine, paediatrics, orthopaedics, radiology, and pathology, have openings.

According to the announcement, the online application period for the JPSC Recruitment 2023 positions will open on March 27 and close on April 28, 2023. Applying for these positions can be done at jpsc.gov.in, the Commission’s official website. Before applying for the positions, it is encouraged that candidates carefully read the notification to understand the requirements and the application process.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Restrictions: As of August 1, 2022, the minimum age limit is 25, and the upper age limit is 47 for backlog openings and 45 for regular vacancies. Relaxed upper age limit for candidates in the reserved category.

 

Educational Qualification

Postgraduate degree in the relevant field from medical colleges accredited by the Medical Council of India, or diploma as an MD, MS, DNB, or other higher degree, or MCHDM degree and doctor registration.

 

Application Fee

The applicants from unreserved/BC/EBC/EWS category are required to pay the fee of Rs 600, whereas Rs 150 is applicable to candidates from SC/ST category of Jharkhand state.

 

Steps to apply for the vacancies:

  1. Visit the official website jpsc.gov.in
  2. On the homepage, click on the “Online Application” link
  3. Click on Non-Teaching Specialist Doctor posts
  4. Register and proceed with the application process
  5. Pay the fee and submit the form
  6. Take a printout for future reference
