Giridih: The CID conducted a raid late Thursday night in Bengabad, Giridih, in connection with the JPSC-JSSC recruitment scam, detaining ASO Sameer alias Shalu after searching a sweet shop located at Bengabad Chowk with the assistance of local police.
Sameer Detained While Visiting Family Shop on Raksha Bandhan
According to reports, Sameer had taken leave and travelled to Bengabad from Ranchi, and was present at his family’s sweet shop at Bengabad Chowk with his family on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan when the CID team, having arrived from Ranchi, raided the shop with local police support and took him into custody, subsequently bringing him back to Ranchi.
