Ranchi, April 30: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has adjourned the application process for Jharkhand Industrial Training Officer Competitive Examination due to ‘unavoidable reasons.’
The advertisement was issued for the appointment of trainees in Industrial Training Institutes for the first time in the state. A total of 727 posts for both backlog and regular vacancies were to be reinstated through this advertisement.
A notification in this regard has also been issued by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. Notably, online applications were initially invited by the commission for the examination regarding the recruitment to the post of Jharkhand Industrial Training Officer from April 19.
The competitive examination was to be of three papers and objective questions were to be asked in all three. The first paper would have been on language and general knowledge which will be qualifying only. That is, its marks will not be added to the merit list, while the second paper would have been of tribal and regional language. Similarly, the third paper exam was to be of technical knowledge.
Meanwhile, aspirants have expressed displeasure over this decision of the commission. Several have claimed that the commission should at least inform them of either the reasons or the expected new date for reapplication for the post.
One such aspirant Vivek Kumar said, “Students know that these things may happen, seeing as it is a Jharkhand organization. However, we expect the commission to at least release the fresh date, or they may even inform us if they will ever invite applications for the same again.”
