JSSC invites applications for 956 graduate-level vacancies

Ranchi, Jan 16:JSSC CGL has announced vacancies and invited online applications on 956 graduate-level posts. Applicants may apply till midnight on February 14, while the link will be available till the midnight of February 18 to take the print of the application by uploading the photograph and signature and paying the examination fee till the midnight of February 16. The exams are to be conducted in a single phase.

Notably, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has started the process of recruitment of 956 graduate level posts under Jharkhand Common Graduate Qualification Combined Competitive Examination-2021. Earlier, the process of Combined Competitive Examination with Common Graduate Qualification was started by the Commission in 2016 and 2019, but was later cancelled.

Candidates who have applied for Jharkhand General Graduate and Qualified Combined Competitive Examination-2019 will have to apply online again, but for this they will not have to pay the examination fee. They will have to enter the registration number and date of birth of the previously submitted application form in the new application. Else, the candidate concerned will not get exemption in examination fee.

According to the commission, the exam will be conducted in one stage (main exam) on the OMR sheet. All questions will have objective type and multiple choice answers. Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be three papers in total. Two hours will be given for each paper. The first paper will be of language, the second of tribal regional language and the third paper will be of general knowledge.

There are 384 posts available for Assistant Branch Officer, 332 posts for Junior Secretariat Assistant, 245 posts for Block Supply Officer and five posts for Planning  Assistant, making the total available 956
