New Delhi, Sept 20: Indian-Canadian Hindus have been threatened to leave Canada and return to India by terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the head of the outlawed pro-Khalistan organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).

Pannun is heard stating in a video that has gone viral during a significant diplomatic dispute between India and Canada, “Indo-Canadian Hindus, you have repudiated your allegiance to Canada and Canadian Constitution. Your destination is India. Leave Canada, go to India.”

“Pro-Khalistan Sikhs have always been loyal to Canada. They have always sided with Canada and they have always upheld the laws and the Constitution,” Pannun added.

In a shocking move, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused Indian government officials of having a “potential link” to the June killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey. The most recent threat from Pannun comes only one day after Trudeau’s accusation.

In the most recent video, Pannun also pleaded with all Canadian Sikhs to assemble in Vancouver on October 29 for a poll to determine whether Indian High Commissioner Verma was accountable for the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

In the past, Khalistani groups in Canada have organized referendums. India has brought up this issue with Canada on numerous occasions to voice its concerns. Additionally, Khalistanis have publicly threatened Indian diplomats and officials.

At a gathering in Canada over a week ago, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun issued threats against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, among other prominent figures.

In a video, he said, “G20 nations, when you will be meeting in Delhi on September 10, we will be organising a Khalistan referendum in Canada.”
