Ranchi, June 14: Local women demanded justice from the Jharkhand High Court staging demonstration outside its gate.
According to them, being locals they parted their ancestral land for the new high court building construction and even worked during its construction but after the high court started functioning they were not given work opportunities and in their place, others were given job opportunities.
The demonstration was staged at gate no. 1 of the High Court building. According to them, they had been promised jobs when land was being acquired for the High Court building construction but the same has not been fulfilled so far.
