Last rites of Lt Col Harjinder Singh, Lance Naik Teja performed with military honour

New Delhi, Dec 12: The last rites of Lt Col Harjinder Singh, was performed on Sunday at the Brar Square crematorium in Delhi Cantonment. The last rites were performed by his daughter Preet Kaur.

Ahead of last rites, Lt Col Singh’s wife Major Agnes P Manezes and daughter paid their last respect to the mortal remains of the officer. Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane, Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar and other military officers also paid their tributes to Lt Col Harjinder Singh.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was also present at the cremation.

Meanwhile, last rites of Lance Naik B Sai Teja were performed with military honour in his home town in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh today.

Lt Col Harjinder Singh and Lance Naik B Sai Teja were among the people who died in the army chopper crash on Wednesday.
