Daltonganj, May 6: The Tori railway station will have lifeline express train positioned on its platform number 2 from May 15 to June 4 for the benefit of the common people ailing from eye, ear, cleft lips, bone issue, dentistry, breast cancer, cervical cancer, oral disease etc.
Impact India Foundation for Life Line Express Project, an NGO, is arranging this multi-speciality hospital in train and this is its 231stationing of the life line express train at Tori railway station.
The counselling, diagnosis, test and treatment including surgery are all free of charges for which a patient is to bring in his or her identity proof, better Aadhar card, and just one attendant to accompany him or her.
Sources said this is the first instance in Latehar district where train hospital is so arriving at its Tori railway station.
Sources said the East Central railway spurned the move of the Latehar district administration to have this train hospital at the Latehar railway station citing operational issues.
Tori railway station superintendent Ranjit Kumar said we are making every possible effort to extend this medical facility train to the maximum number of people in need of the medical assistance and treatment.
