Jamshedpur, April 29: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of light rain and thunder in isolated places across Jharkhand today.
Weathermen said strong surface wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 Kmph is also expected at a few places today.
The Ranchi Met Centre also issued a hailstorm forecast in some places of northern and central Jharkhand tomorrow, April 30.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand today.
Light rain with thunderstorm occurred at isolated places over the state during the past 24- hours.
The highest rainfall recorded was 14.2 mm at Ghatshila (East Singhbhum). The
highest maximum temperature of 36.6 °C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 20.2°C was recorded at Ramgarh.
Met data suggested that the day’s temperature has come down below 35 degree Celsius at most places across the state due to cloud cover and rainfall activity.
