Mumbai, April 25: Maharashtra’s MVA administration, led by Uddhav Thackeray, will host an all-party conference to discuss the problem of loudspeakers in holy locations and to ensure that there are no law-and-order difficulties in the state.
According to sources, the all-party meeting would take place in the Sahayadri Guest House. Raj Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief, will not be present at today’s meeting.
“MNS chief Raj Thackeray will not attend the all-party meeting called by the state government to resolve the loudspeaker dispute,” MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande was quoted by ANI as saying.

Devendra Fadnavis, a BJP leader and former Maharashtra chief minister, has also confirmed that he will not attend today’s all-party meeting. According to ANI, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and former Chief Minister and opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis would not attend the state government’s meeting.
The meeting will be chaired by Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, according to the statement.
