Jamshedpur Aug 5: Gangster Amarnaath Singh murder case’s main shooter Vishal Singh has been arrested.
The police arrested Vishal while he was traveling by Tata-Patna South Bihar Express having planned to go to an undisclosed destination.
While making the arrest, the police also recovered a loaded pistol from the possession of the accused.
Having taken the accused in custody, the police brought him to Bagbera thana from where he was handed over to Mango police which is carrying out an investigation into the Amarnaath Singh murder case along with the Dumka police.
A resident of Bagbera thana area, Vishal Singh, had gone underground after participating in the murder of gangster Amarnaath Singh near Basukinath temple in Dumka on July 26 night. Amarnaath Singh was gunned down while he was about to leave for Tarapith after performing ‘Jalabhishek’ of Lord Shiva at Baba Dham and visiting the Basukinath temple.
According to police, it was Vishal Singh who had first fired shots on the gangster.
Police had earlier arrested two shooters indulged in the murder of the gangster Amarnaath Singh.
