Jamshedpur, July 14: A 38-year-old man identified as Ibrar Ali had a fatal fall from the roof of a double-storeyed building at Taznagar under Kapali thana outpost near Jamshedpur on Thursday night.
Father of four children, Ali was rushed to MGM medical college hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries at the small hours today.
The victim who would stay at a rented portion of the building had gone on the roof after a quarrel broke out at home with his wife over some issue.
Kapali OP in-charge Sandeep Kumar said this was a case of accident and not suicide.
“The victim’s father has a house in Kapali itself but he would stay at a rented house separately for the past three months. He had gone up to the roof after a brawl with his wife and had accidentally slipped off the roof, ” said the OP in charge while talking to lagatar24.com.
The police have sent the body to the medical college mortuary for postmortem.
