Ranchi, Mar 22: In view of the deteriorating health of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, the medical board at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science has decided to refer him to AIIMS for further treatment.
After coming out of the meeting of the medical board, Dr Kameshwar Prasad, Director of RIMS said that Lalu Yadav’s condition is getting worse and his heart and kidney have been affected.
“Last time also he was sent to AIIMS Delhi for higher treatment. Again we have recommended sending him to Delhi for further treatment. In this Jail authorities will decide when he will be sent, in our advice sooner he will be sent, better will be for him,” Dr Prasad said.
Medical superintendent at RIMS Dr. Hiren Birua said that Lalu has been referred to AIIMS for better treatment. All the paper works are being completed by RIMS and the concerned authorities have been informed.
According to information received, Lalu Yadav has diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, kidney stone, stress, thalassemia, prostate enlargement, increase in uric acid, brain-related disease, weak immunity, right shoulder bone problem, leg bone problem, eye problem. His kidney is in the fourth stage which is in the last stage. His creatinine level has increased from 4.1 to 4.6.
