Miscreants snatch bag containing Rs 2 lakh from man in Hazaribagh

Ramgarh, May 25: Another case of criminals following customers, who withdraw money from the bank, surfaces in Hazaribagh on Tuesday. After snatching the bag containing Rs 2 lakh belonging to Sanjay Yadav, a resident of Chauparan Hazaribagh, the criminals disappeared.

The incident happened late on Tuesday evening. Sanjay had withdrawn the money from the Bank of India during the day. He departed for Chauparan late in the evening after completing some tasks in Hazaribagh when the criminals escaped by snatching his bag and dodging near the Zila Parishad Chowk.

According to the information, Sanjay had reached District Board Chowk to go to Chauparan. He was shopping there when an unknown person said to Sanjay that his money fell and diverted his attention to the other side. Sanjay looked for the money downstairs when suddenly the criminals fled by snatching the bag from him.

As soon as the information was received by the Sadar police station, the police started raids to nab the culprits. The nearby police stations have also been alerted and the footage of CCTV cameras in the control room is also being scanned.
