Ramgarh, April 24: The mortuary (D-freezer), which had been out of order for more than a year in the post-mortem house at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital, was repaired with the help of the Ajmera Foundation.
A day earlier, the secretary of Muktidham Seva Sansthan, Neeraj Kumar, met with Ajmera Foundation’s director, Harsh Ajmera, in connection with the huge problem being faced in the maintenance of dead bodies in the sweltering heat in Hazaribagh. After which Harsh Ajmera, taking immediate initiative, had to personally inspect the post-mortem house of SBMCH visit the condition, and then get it repaired by calling an engineer’s team to get the mortuary repaired.
Harsh Ajmera told in this regard that now it will be easier to keep the dead bodies safe. He said that it is our privilege to work for the welfare of the people. Neeraj Kumar, Secretary of Muktidham Seva Sansthan, thanked Harsh Ajmera for this humanitarian initiative.
Neeraj Kumar said that due to the broken mortuary, the foul smell spread after keeping the dead body here for a few hours, and it became a compulsion to perform the funeral without keeping the unclaimed or unknown dead bodies for a long time. But now, due to its repair, there will be no problem in keeping four dead bodies together for several consecutive days through this D Freezer.
