New Delhi, Oct 3: Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav is currently admitted to Medanta’s critical care unit and is being treated by a large team of specialists, the hospital said in a statement on Monday.
Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health deteriorated on Sunday and he was admitted to the intensive care unit of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. The former UP chief minister was hospitalized a few days ago, but after his condition worsened, he was shifted to the intensive care unit.
The 82-year-old SP leader currently represents the Mainpuri constituency in the Lok Sabha.
“Respected Netaji is admitted to the ‘Critical Care Unit’ of Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, and his condition is stable. It is not possible to meet Netaji. So it is a humble request to all of you to please do not come to the hospital. Information about Netaji’s health will be given from time to time,” Sharing a copy of the statement issued by Medanta Hospital on Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health, the Samajwadi Party said.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has arrived at Medanta Hospital. Earlier in the day, PM Narendra Modi also spoke to Akhilesh Yadav to inquire about his father’s health.
