Mumbai, August 27: Mumbai’s Hotel Galaxy caught fire on Sunday, leaving three people dead and five more injured. At around 1 pm, a fire started on the second floor of the hotel in Mumbai’s Santacruz locality.
Eight people were evacuated from the hotel and transferred to the Cooper Hospital, a fire officer said.
The fire has been put out, and efforts are now being made to rescue anyone still within the structure.
The official reported that four fire engines and as many water trucks were dispatched to the hotel.
