Daltonganj, Oct 29: A well known civil society activist Shoukat Khan on Saturday distributed new clothes among the Chhath devotees on Katchehry road in Garhwa town.
Speaking to lagatar24.com, Shoukat Khan said, “I feel happy to be a part of the festivals of any faith. I have given Saree blouse piece and other wear to the Chhath devotees. These devotees love coming to me with hope.”
Shoukat Khan has earned a reputation for offering Sattu sharbat free in the summer of Garhwa which is very excruciating. He also runs Kapra Bank and Book Bank.
