New Delhi: The alleged religious conversion and workplace harassment case linked to the Nashik campus of Tata Consultancy Services has now reached the Supreme Court. The matter has drawn national attention after serious allegations surfaced against several employees.

Petition Seeks National Guidelines

Advocate Ashwini Upadhyay has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, describing the Nashik incident as an organized crime. He argued that such cases pose risks to national unity, demographic balance, and internal security. The petition seeks strict national guidelines to prevent fraudulent religious conversions across the country.

Serious Allegations Raised in Investigation

According to reports, a 12-member Special Investigation Team has begun probing the matter. Several women employees at the BPO campus have accused senior staff members of sexual harassment and coercive religious practices.

Police have reportedly arrested seven individuals, including the operations head and team leaders. They are accused of forcing employees to participate in religious practices, learn specific prayers, and listen to remarks against Hindu beliefs.

Case Gains Wider Attention

The controversy has intensified as investigators continue examining possible external links and workplace misconduct. The case is expected to remain under close legal and public scrutiny in the coming days.
